Called Out Ministries Kenya Launch

Called Out has always been a ministry that reaches out into the community. As such, we would like to announce that Called Out Ministries is expanding to Kitale, Kenya through a new partnership with Hon. Haron Orwaru to form Called Out Ministries Kenya. This launch brings intentional, Christ-centered programs designed to teach children the knowledge of God while confronting the daily realities of extreme poverty that limit their futures.

What We Are Doing

Education in the knowledge of God: Age-appropriate Bible teaching, discipleship groups, and faith-based life-skills sessions designed to help children know God, build character, and grow in hope.
Basic needs and poverty alleviation: Feeding programs, school supplies, uniforms, and coordinated efforts to connect families with local resources and sustainable income-generating opportunities.
Safe spaces and community care: After-school programs, mentorship, and trauma-informed pastoral care that create stability for children living in fragile economic conditions.

Why Kitale

Kitale is a community with deep faith and resilience but also persistent poverty that affects children’s access to education, nutrition, and hope. Partnering with Hon. Haron Orwaru gives Called Out Ministries local leadership, cultural insight, and trusted relationships that accelerate impact and accountability.

Our Partnership with Hon. Haron Orwaru

Hon. Haron Orwaru brings local leadership, experience navigating community systems, and a heart for children. Together we will:

Co-design programs that respect local culture and respond to real needs.
Build transparent governance and local staffing to ensure long-term sustainability.
Measure outcomes in learning, health, and family economic stability.

How People Can Help

Give: Donations will directly fund food, school materials, teacher training, and family-support initiatives.
Pray: Spiritual covering for children, families, leaders, and the Nairobi–Kitale team.
Partner: Short-term teams, educational volunteers, and local ministry collaborations are welcome as the work grows.
